Berry Green Smoothie

This month for my Secret Recipe Club assignment I had Amber's blog Caleighs kitchen. I had a nice time going through Amber's blog, but was particularly interested in the health section.
I found this deliciously healthy and easy to whip up smoothie that caught my eye and taste buds. Thank you Amber for this recipe. I really enjoyed it!

  • 1/2 cup berry mix (blueberries, strawberries, lingon, goji, raspberries)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 cup homemade yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp of flax chia mix
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
Blend all ingredients. Add honey if required.

  1. You can go wrong with berries in a smoothie! Karen

  2. Smoothies are great for lunch, I tend not to make them often enough, but keep collecting ideas...

    one more! ;-)

  3. I've never added cucumber to my smoothies before, I bet it adds a refreshing flavor!

  4. Nothing beats a smoothie for a healthy on the go breakfast.

  5. We keep offering smoothies to my little man but he hasn't caught on yet - but when he does green smoothies will be happening in my blender, too!

  6. I often use flax, chia, and almond milk in my smoothies & this looks tasty.

I made your pineapple jam for this month & it was delicious!

  7. That sounds very tasty and healthy. Great choice!

  8. I love this kind of thing for breakfast on days I am not ready to eat much so early. (I have a bad habit of trying to skip breakfast!) These kind of smoothies help.

  9. Yum! This smoothie looks delicious! I'm impressed that it didn't turn green as usually mine turn a weird colour when I add berries and spinach... Maybe because I don't add yoghurt?

  10. Oh the cucumber sounds so refreshing. Yum!
